250cc vs. 275cc Breast Implant Sizers: Should You Go Up a Little?

Maybe 250cc was the first number you heard, or the one that felt safe. Now you're wondering whether 275cc would give you just a little more of what you want. It's one of the most common questions women ask: stay with my number, or go up a step?

The Oumènta 2-Pack lets you wear both sizes under your own clothes, through your normal days, before you meet with your plastic surgeon. With only 25cc between them, the answer usually comes from living with each one, not from a single look in the mirror.

Choose your Oumènta Pocket Bra size (XS, S, M, L, or XL) above, based on how you fit today, not on the size you're hoping for.

What's Included in Your Oumènta 2-Pack?

  • 1 Oumènta Pocket Bra in the size you select
  • 1 pair of 250cc breast implant sizers
  • 1 pair of 275cc breast implant sizers

Try 275cc first, for a day or two, then switch back to 250cc. Whether 250cc feels like a relief or a step down tells you a lot.

Which Pocket Bra Size Should I Choose?

If you normally wear a 32" band or smaller, choose Extra Small (XS). Otherwise, select the Pocket Bra size that matches your current fit.

The Pocket Bra should feel snug and supportive, similar to a sports bra. There's no need to size up for this kit. The internal pockets are designed for the sizers, and a steady fit keeps both sizes in the same position, which matters when only 25cc separates them.

More About 250cc vs. 275cc

250cc vs. 275cc Breast Implants: How Different Are They?

275cc has 25cc more volume per breast than 250cc. That's 10% more sizer volume, or about 1.7 tablespoons per side.

That doesn't mean your breasts will look 10% larger. The percentage describes the volume of the sizer, not your overall breast size. How either volume looks on you depends on your existing breast tissue, chest width, and frame, and after surgery also on implant profile and placement.

The "Just a Little More" Question

Many women who settle on a size start wondering about the next step up. Sometimes that's a real preference. Sometimes it's simply second-guessing. Wearing both sizes helps you tell the difference.

If 275cc keeps feeling right after a few days, that's worth telling your surgeon. If it starts to feel like more than you wanted, you've learned that 250cc may be your size, and you can go into your consultation with more confidence.

Is 25cc Noticeable?

Usually only a little. In loose clothing, 250cc and 275cc can look nearly the same. In fitted knits, swimwear, or from the side, you may notice slightly more fullness with 275cc. The question that matters most is whether you notice it, and whether you like it.

For comparison, a 50cc step is often easier to see. Read 250cc vs. 300cc Breast Implants: Is 50cc Noticeable?

How to Compare 250cc and 275cc at Home

Start with the bigger size. Wear 275cc for a day or two, then switch to 250cc. Notice whether 250cc feels like the right amount or not quite enough.

Watch how tops drape. Small differences often show in how fabric falls from the bust, especially in button-front shirts and wrap tops.

Include movement. Walk, reach, and exercise in each size. Comfort and confidence while moving count as much as how a size looks standing still.

Photograph both. Take front and side photos in the same outfit and lighting, and compare them a day later.

Bring your photos and notes to your consultation. They give your surgeon a clear picture of the look you prefer.

Will 250cc or 275cc Give Me a C Cup?

There's no reliable conversion between implant volume and cup size. The same volume can look different on two women, and cup sizes vary between bra brands. Oumènta sizers show you external volume under clothing; they can't predict your cup size after surgery.

Why Try Sizes Before Surgery?

In a published study of 567 women, a group who tried silicone implant samples in a bra before surgery generally reported that the preoperative sizing process was helpful. The study used implant samples, not Oumènta sizers, and doesn't show that Oumènta products affect surgical outcomes.

250cc vs. 275cc Frequently Asked Questions

How much bigger is 275cc than 250cc?

275cc has 25cc more volume per breast, which is 10% more than 250cc. The visible difference is usually subtle and most noticeable in fitted clothing and from the side.

Should I go up 25cc from my original size?

Only if it feels right to you after wearing both, and after discussing it with your surgeon. Trying the larger size at home helps you separate a real preference from second-guessing.

Should I get 250cc or 275cc breast implants?

That's a decision for you and your plastic surgeon. Wearing both sizes at home can help you understand which look you prefer. Your surgeon will assess your anatomy and recommend implant dimensions that suit you.

Why buy a 2-Pack instead of a 3-Pack?

If you've already narrowed your choice to 250cc or 275cc, a 2-Pack focuses on just those two sizes, at a lower price. If you're still exploring, a 3-Pack or custom kit adds a third size for a wider comparison.

Will these sizers show me how my implants will look?

No. Oumènta sizers show external volume under clothing. They can't reproduce implant placement, tissue response, implant profile, or surgical results.

Important: Oumènta sizers are wearable apparel for personal sizing exploration. They are not medical devices, do not predict surgical results, and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified plastic surgeon.
