Finding Your Preferred Breast Implant Size
You've narrowed your breast implant choices to somewhere between 350cc and 450cc. But how do you decide whether the additional fullness of 450cc is worth choosing over 400cc? And could 350cc actually give you the silhouette you prefer?
The Oumènta Breast Implant Sizer Kit includes three pairs of wearable breast implant sizers and a Large pocket bra. Instead of relying entirely on photographs or a brief consultation, compare all three volumes at home, in your own clothing, and during everyday activities.
Three Sizes, Three Different Experiences
350cc: The smallest volume in this kit. It gives you a starting point for exploring fullness without immediately choosing a larger option. Depending on your existing breast tissue and proportions, this may already create a substantial change in your external silhouette.
400cc: The middle choice, offering approximately 14% more volume than 350cc. It's an opportunity to discover whether an additional 50cc gives you the fullness you're looking for.
450cc: The largest option, with approximately 29% more volume than 350cc. Comparing these two volumes may reveal differences in how your clothing fits and how you experience external fullness throughout the day.
These are volume comparisons, not predictions of surgical results. Your anatomy, existing breast tissue, implant dimensions, profile, and placement influence your eventual appearance.
Will 450cc Feel Too Full for Your Everyday Lifestyle?
A fuller silhouette might look appealing in a photograph or a special-occasion dress. But what about when you're working, exercising, or simply going about your day?
Try 350cc with a fitted T-shirt, then compare 400cc in the same outfit. Finally, wear 450cc and notice how the external fullness changes.
Pay attention when reaching for the steering wheel, walking, carrying groceries, or performing comfortable exercise. You may prefer the additional fullness of 450cc, or discover that 400cc offers a balance you enjoy more.
Wear each size for as many days as you need. Switch between them, revisit your favorites, and compare how you feel in different situations.
Consider the Difference in Weight, Not Just Appearance
Moving from 350cc to 450cc represents an additional 100cc of volume per breast. For silicone implants, that corresponds to approximately 100 grams of additional weight per implant, or about 200 grams (7 ounces) for a pair. Actual implant weights vary.
Oumènta sizers let you explore differences in external volume and weight during everyday activities. They cannot reproduce the exact movement, weight distribution, or feel of surgically implanted breasts.
Research Supports Comparing Sizes Before Surgery
567 Women Studied
In a published study involving 567 women, researchers found that women who participated in preoperative breast implant sizing reported greater satisfaction and were less likely to want a different implant size after surgery.
The study used silicone implant samples in bras, not Oumènta sizers, but its findings support the value of comparing sizes before surgery.
